The structure of the cell membrane consists of Lecithin, an important phospholipid for our health. Lecithin is found in major organs such as heart, liver and brain. The body needs Lecithin for the construction and repair of damaged cells,for hormone synthesis and to ensure a normal lipid and cholesterol metabolism. It prevents and promotes healing in cardiovascular, gastrointestinal and nervous system diseases. In most cases, even in a moderately balanced diet, foods do not provide the necessary amount oflecithin. Special demands, such as: an unbalanced diet, advanced age, periods ofphysical and mental effort, can increasethe need for lecithin.Plant-based lecithin is particularlybeneficial in these cases.

Lecithin has many effects on the physiological functions of the body:

  • Improves brain activity, provides nutrition to the nervous system, participates in the transmission of nerve impulses;
  • Improves the activity of the cardiovascular system. It effectivelyprevents atherosclerosis, normalizes cholesterol and triglycerides levels in the blood;
  • Ensures a balanced lipid metabolism;
  • Restores the structure of theliver, including in fatty liver disease, regulates bile formation, prevents the development of gallstones andcirrhosis in alcohol abuse;
  • Improves kidney function;
  • Restores the immune functions of lymphocytes and macrophages;
  • Promotes the loss of excess body mass;
  • It is necessary in the diet of pregnant and nursing women because it ensures the formation and normal development of the nervous system of the foetus and children;
  • Stimulates the absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, K.

  • Nervous system diseases: neurosis, chronic fatigue, nervous tics, stress, memory impairment.
  • It is recommended in children with developmental delay or increased excitability. As it improves attention, it can be administered in physical or nervous overload.
  • Cardiovascular diseases: ischemic disease, angina pectoris, hypertension, atherosclerosis (participates in restorationof motor and mental functions after strokes).
  • Liver disease: acute and chronic hepatitis, chronic cholecystitis, gallstones (prevents gallstone formation).
  • Gastrointestinal tract disease: gastritis, gastroduodenitis, bile duct dyskinesia. (Lecithin has an emollient action on the lining of the digestive tract).
  • Pregnant and nursing women. It is indicated in gestosis, in the first trimester of pregnancy when the nervous system of the foetus is formed. In the second trimester, it beneficially influences lungs development of the foetus.
