HOLICIN is a food supplement designed to protect the nerve cells from harmful internal and external environmental factors, thus helping to improve cognitive functions of the brain.
CITICOLINE has nootropic and neuroprotective properties. In the body, it is metabolized into choline and cytidine and participates in the biosynthesis of lecithin. It enhances the cerebral blood circulation and enriches the brain with oxygen. It contributes to memory improvement, increases concentration, and preservesintellectual work capacity.
Citicoline has neuroprotective effects due to the fact that it:
- stimulates biosynthesis of structural phospholipids in the neuronal membranes, improves the function of the ion-exchange pumps and receptors;
- restores the damagedmembranes of cell and due its ability to stabilize neuronal membranes it promotes reabsorption of cerebral edema;
- preserves neuronal energy reserve and stimulates acetylcholine and dopamine synthesis;
